Each lesson focuses on the daily operations of an HPCC Systems Administrator, and introduces best practices that have been recommended by members of our in-house RISK Solutions HPCC team.

Every HPCC system requires configuration. The Configuration Manager tool (configmgr) included with the system software is the essential component in setting up, maintaining, and updating your HPCC system. It is a graphical tool that can be used to configure any system, and includes a wizard that you can run which will easily generate an environment file to get you up and running quickly. There is also an advanced view available which allows for a more specific configuration, while still using the graphical interface.
Our final lesson includes valuable tips that every Systems Administrator needs to know. This includes the use of the ECL Playground, THOR and ROXIE Certification, the use of daliadmin with dalilocks, maintaining and analyzing log files, and general troubleshooting tips.
